Connection Failure Troubleshooting

Connection failure is a trouble condition that may be caused by an interruption in internet connectivity while the system is the process of downloading or uploading information. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve connection issue that your system may be encountering.

Troubleshooting: 

Is your panel showing a connection failure trouble code?

  1. ​If you are receiving a connection failure trouble code, begin by testing your system. Refer to the Test Your System page.
  2. Resolve any issues found with the detectors. Refer to the Motion Detector Troubleshooting page.
  3. Perform a system reset. 
  4. Allow your system at least one hour to return to its normal state.
