Chime Battery
On certain systems, the word "CHIME" followed by the trouble code "BAT" will display. These terms refer to two separate functions. Please be aware that your system does not have a chime battery. "CHIME" indicates that the chime feature is turned on. The trouble code "BAT" indicates that your system has a low battery that needs to be recharged or replaced. Refer to the recharge or replace a battery page to troubleshoot a low battery.
