ADT Pulse Mobile Apps
Getting Started
The ADT Pulse Mobile App allows you to access a core set of remote monitoring and security system functions.
The app is designed to be easy to use, so it contains only the essential functionality available in the web portal. For more extensive functionality, refer to the web portal and its online help system.
This app is supported on mobile devices running Android 4.4 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.
Note: For security reasons, the app does not currently work on rooted phones to help mitigate the impact caused by various forms of malware, viruses and spyware. While we don’t encourage the use of rooted devices, we recommend using mobile.adtpulse.com as an alternative to accessing your Pulse system on your mobile device.
For more information, please visit the Pulse App - Getting Started page.
Basics
The Pulse mobile app provides images from cameras plus access to devices and settings, called Dashboard. Detailed information on the devices, as well as a list of the latest activity, is also available.
For an in-depth tour of the Pulse mobile app, please visit the ADT Pulse Mobile App – Basics page.
Modes
“Modes” enables total home automation at the touch of a button, providing greater security, control, and energy savings. You perform a single action–select a new mode–and settings for lights, thermostats, locks and so forth are automatically changed to values that you specifically programmed for the selected mode. The user-definable modes enable schedules and automations to perform actions with respect to your security system’s arm state, scheduled times, sensor status, system events, and more.
For more information, please visit the Pulse Modes page.
Sensor Activity
Sensor Activity displays a list of the sensors in your Pulse environment in tile format and includes the current state of each. A companion screen lists all actions that have occurred in your system, such as opened/closed sensors, lights turned on/off, and system armed or disarmed. By default, the list shows the activity for the past 30 days. You can filter the list for time periods and for specific categories of devices on your system.
